A: Surveying or Land Surveying is a technique, profession, and science of accurately determining the terrestrial or three dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them.  Surveys are used to identify boundaries and features of land to determine ownership. In the province of British Columbia, only a licensed BC Land Surveyor can provide you with this information.
